CEOs were introduced to the world of nonprofits with Kelly Price, the Executive Director of CASA of West Central Illinois (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
CASA advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the court system.
Their mission is to provide trained and empowered volunteer advocates to improve the lives of these children. Kelly shared that there are currently 447 children in foster care in the communities that our local CASA serves and 190 in Knox County.
Thanks Kelly for educating the CEOs on the excellent and much needed work of CASA!
