About Me

Hi, my name is Olivia Owen. I am currently a Junior at Galesburg High School. I am involved in Student Council, World Language Club, Interact Club, Youth group, Swim Team, and Football Cheer. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, and family, baking, and working. 

In 2018 I competed in the Great Galesburg Shake. The Great Galesburg Shake is a competition throughout our school district for grades 4th-12th. I made it to the top 5 and had the opportunity to go to New York City for the next two rounds. The Great Galesburg Shake opened my eyes to many different businesses and helped me realize how important social skills are. 

The CEO program caught my attention when I learned how many amazing opportunities it has to offer. Going to new businesses and meeting people throughout Knox County sounded interesting. One of the opportunities in CEO is getting to create your own business. I love being creative and exploring new opportunities and challenges.
