About Me

Hello, my name is Triomphe Mulata. I am 17 years old and a junior at Galesburg Jr/Sr High School. I am a part of the George Washington Gale Scholars, the French National Honor Society, Student Council, and Trio Upward Bound. A little bit about myself: I was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where I spent the majority of my childhood. I later moved to the US in the fourth grade. The big change was definitely scary, but I had great help and an amazing teacher to guide me in a way to be a successful student. I eventually learned English and can now speak three languages fluently: French, Lingala (with a somewhat strong accent), and, of course, English. Out of the three, French is definitely my favorite language to speak. I always strive to do my best in school and achieve the highest grades. After high school, I want to apply to a four-year university and major in Architectural Engineering while minoring in French. For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to become an architect, and one of my goals is to open my own architectural firm. The CEO program will offer me the experience and knowledge on how to run a business properly, and I can't wait to see what amazing things we are going to learn this year.
