Lucy Kuelper
About Me
Lucy Kuelper, from Rio, IL, I am a senior at ROWVA High School. I am involved in FFA, NHS, TRI-M, and many more.
I´m a dedicated advocate for road safety and community empowerment. As the driving force behind the Move Over Project, her commitment to making Illinois roads safer is inspiring, and I continue to leverage my experience to engage others across the country. My message is simple: move over and slow down for flashing lights on the side of the road. Through public speaking, hosting community events, and working with legislators, I have been able to be a change-maker on an international level. My talent is vocal performance, and I love any opportunity to share my love for music with others.
A few interesting facts about Me: I started my Community Service Initiative when I was 12 years old. I am the on-field emcee for the Quad Cities River Bandits, a minor league baseball team affiliated with the Kansas City Royals. I love engaging with my community in such a fun way! I am a fundraising ambassador for Raising Paddles LLC, helping raise funding for nonprofits all over Illinois.
My future plans are to obtain a B.S. in political science and minor in civic leadership. I intend to run for elected office and become a public servant in illinois
I joined the CEO Program because I wanted to learn more about the fundamentals that go into starting and having a successful business. As Jeremy would say ¨There's gotta be a better way.
