About Me

Hello! I’m Anthony Makala, 17 years old. I attend Galesburg  Jr. Senior High School, class of 2026. I like to challenge myself and be involved in many activities, a member of the National Honor Society, World Language club, Captain of the Soccer team, and Wrestling team. I applied to become a CEO student because I believe it is a prestigious opportunity. To connect to the small and big businesses that contributed to an amazing childhood I had in this town. It’s in my instincts to go headfirst into what I know will elevate me as a person and as a businessman. I want to go into the real world earlier than my peers and get a head start! I give true thanks to the members of the community who make this program possible, and I intend to rise to its bar. I strive to be outstanding, different, and risk-taking. Becoming an entrepreneur is the biggest risk anyone can take. The CEO program is going to guide me, help me build a network, social skills, and, most importantly, do business well. The first day of class, our wise teacher quoted “Life is an Occasion, so rise to it”. I’m determined to do just that, and meet some amazing people along the way. Who knows, I could be working with you one day!
