Kaidence Wilson

About Me

Hi, my name is Kaidence Wilson I’m the oldest of 6 kids and the first generation college student in my family. I’m currently a senior at Galesburg High School, where I’ve devoted a lot of time towards varsity tennis these past few years. I played softball up until my junior year and was also a part of the student council. I’m an honor roll student, a part of the yearbook staff, Spanish Honors Society, a manager for the boy's tennis team and I’m also a Gale Scholar. You’ll always find me with my nose in a book. Outside of school, I love reading, writing, listening to music, playing tennis, or spending time with my younger siblings. Everything I’m doing is to set an example for them.

After Highschool, I plan to attend college with assistance from the Gale Scholars program and find a way to use my love for reading and writing to make a positive impact on society.

I joined this program mostly because it was out of my comfort zone, I was aware that it would push me beyond my own limits just unsure to what extent. The same reason why I picked up a racket and tried tennis my freshman year, I never would have guessed the progress I’d make in a few years. Just barely a few weeks into this program and I’ve already seen progress within myself and my knowledge of the business world. I’m anticipating the growth of myself and my fellow team members by the end of this school year within the CEO Program. I’m excited for what's to come and I’m so beyond thankful to be given this opportunity.
