About Me

Hi, my name is Della Coleman, and I am a 16-year-old junior at Galesburg Jr/Sr High School. I am a captain of the Gadet dance team at Galesburg High School, a Varsity Basketball Cheerleader, and an Upward Bound student. Outside of school, I work at Kastle Kreme and Landmark Café in the summer. Although I don’t always meet the kindest people working in customer service, I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and being able to have short conversations with them and hopefully brighten their day. Furthermore, I have been a studio dancer for 8 years and a competitive dancer for 4 years. Dance is something that I am very passionate about, and I plan to open my own dance studio one day. I don’t have my exact path mapped out yet, but I know business is a direction I want to follow. I joined the CEO Program to learn about the building blocks needed to build a strong and successful business. The CEO Program has definitely put me out of my comfort zone, but I always put my best foot forward with everything I do, and this program will be no different.
